Prevent a Cytokine Storm and help make sure not too many cytokines (chemicals that help cells, such as white blood cells to attack pathogens) go to the inflamed area and be released in blood streams, going to the inflammation. Prevent cytokines being released too quickly to prevent a feedback loop that can cause sepsis or death. Help prevent any rheumatoid with helping to heal inflamed joints to prevent damaged cartilage. Help prevent acute inflammation to not turn into chronic inflammation when not needed.
